Sledding

Its been a very warm winter for the North Country, but we did have a couple of opportunities to play in the snow. Not long after we got home from Boise there was a good snow storm that gave us enough to go sledding. This is the second year of sledding fun for the boys, and they do love it. They even haul their sleds up the hill without complaint for an hour and a half just to do it!












































and yes, Jovey got in on it too, she got to go down half the hill a couple of times on this inflatable sled with back support, it was awesome. She only fell out once, and that was while I was pulling her towards the hill from the car. Didn't phase her.

Soccer

Went bowling the other day, and it went really well until the last frame when Carter decided to try picking his ball up by himself, it almost worked, and then he dropped it on his finger (not a far drop since he hadn't fully made it out of the ball area, and only a 6 lb ball). His nail is pretty now. He calls it his rainbow finger.

Coryn was theatrical with his pushes.

September still... ice skating

Thats right, subtropical Okinawa, the Hawaii of Japan, has an indoor ice skating rink. One.

So we went, and the kids had a blast. Coryn was kind of scared, who likes that slippy feeling when you're used to walking normal?

Carter had a blast, he swung between us, and purposely slid his feet every which way for the heck of it. Check out those gloves!

But they had the most fun getting pushed around in the skating rental cars!

Of course we had to warm up with some ramen and cocoa, Carter refused to have his gloves on at this point.

Coryn's getting really good at chopsticks. I think he'll miss those at the restaurants.

Carter likes getting fed like a bird.

It was a very tiring day...

He liked to hit the ball, and I must say, he's better at it without the tee.

walking calmly to 1st base "thats my spot", and yes, later when he visited the base for a third time that particular hit he cried that someone else was on it.
Carter likes to hit too! (he's better than some of those kids at the tee) :)

Ballet

Coryn has been taking ballet and is now in a room built for it, complete with one way mirror for parents, thus the poor quality of pictures. This is 'eleve' forgive my spelling, French is not my forte.
