Aaron's Wedding (from my camera's perspective)

Rehearsal dinner and the boys found the stash of nativity props and a wheelchair.  They took turns pretending to be old men, even making a wheezy voice.
 Final touches
 blushing bride
finger puppets and a boy who sang "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"
 Robot dance?
 Go home baby, you're drunk...
'brotherly' advice, I'm sure.

Christmas! (last year of course)

 Aww
 little tiny packages...
 Little pretend sushi...
 lab coats
 guitars
 and grabby things too.
(and some hair for Jovey)

Christmas Eve! (last year of course...)

 PJs of course
 some glow
 some footies
And the candlelight service at church
with the family

Fun with the Grandparents Irish

Jovey spent the day stuffing this zebra-print pillow in her shirt, I think they are talking about it like another baby but I don't remember...
 Coryn loves his Grandie!
 Attack!
 Apples anyone?
 Apples to apples that is.

Kiki!  (and Lincoln I guess)

Fun at Grandparents Messinger House

 Toys we only see here...
 Digging into stuff...
 Piano!
 The Great Grands
and more relatives than usual in town for Aaron's wedding.

Jovey 2nd

 Birthday dinner!
 Presents
 Cards
 Clothes (my favorite!)

Streets of Bethlehem

So there are a million fun things to do around the holidays here, a variety of historical productions in particular.  We went to Salinas to see a program called Streets of Bethlehem where people dress up and act like the time of Jesus's birth.
 Bus ride!  always a favorite.
This is a big production with acting at several stages so they only let people in a few at a time.  A roman guard keeps the crowds entertained with threats and bribes...
Plus a variety of educational booths about the time with crafts and activities like bread making, Jewish holiday traditions, dried fruit, spice boxes, etc.
For the finale, a musical number by a choir of angels
and the live nativity....  all in all a great Christmas tradition.

Tree Lighting

The first Monday after Thanksgiving the town has its tree-lighting event including music from a few groups, we went to watch.
And play in the dark because when else do we get to do that?

Weeeee!

Whats that?  A fire truck? with...

Santa!

Thanksgiving Weekend

In what seems to be a tradition of sorts now, Jackson's family likes to come visit for Thanksgiving.
We played at Lover's Point, they went to Coryn's Thanksgiving play at school.
We ate a picnic lunch from Compagno's

And Gpop took some pictures, so now you get to see me too.

Yay family!  (my family came a month before this but I was lame and didn't take any pictures...)
