Water Safari... strangest water park you'll find... half water park half carnival rides/storybook village (must be the 'enchanted forest' part) and it has its own circus show. It was supposed to be a warm day... but started out quite chilly, everyone 'wore' their towels around as we toured the section filled with storybook things like the pumpkin house from that mother goose rhyme and Pinocchio.
It did warm up enough to get in the water, and the boys had fun doing so. they even got to go on one of the big rides since we were there with our FRG group I volunteered to laze around with everyone's stuff and Jovey while they got in the water, etc.
Jovey is quite good at lazing... and hydrating.
Here's some of the ladies from our group...
Jovey really enjoyed the train ride, look she's racing!

Stone Mills Museum
Went to the fiber festival at Stone Mills Museum, it was so much fun! basically what I always pictured small town fairs used to be before the advent of 'rides'. There was an egg race...
a tractor and antique car parade...
and lessons on what life was like before 'public schools' and buses. I'm all for one room schoolhouses.
it wasn't a fiber fest like you'd think, they had all kinds of fibers, fur and edible...
it was a blast, they had a quilt show, pie eating contest, and a tractor pull. two thumbs up for Stone Mills

more summer fun
Go-karts! Coryn is possibly the safest 5 year old driver ever, super slow! although to be fair I think they rig it so it can't go any faster than maybe 5 mph lol
smithsonian set #2~ archaeology! they treasure the little shiny rocks they pulled out.
sword-play! I mean... mini golf!
and playing with friends, or borrowing their toys at least... hello iron man.
