Summer Fun
The library had Curious George come for a visit. We just had to go!
Even Jovey is interested in whats going on...
There he is! (on the left is Miss Grace Atwood, a good friend.
The boys got to make their own volcanoes this summer, and were super excited to 'explode' them. They had grand plans of setting them up in the road and 'exploding' them when a car drove up... we had words about how it wasn't nice to set IEDs up and they weren't allowed to be terrorists. kids...

Old McDonald Had a Farm.... No, Really.
See, I told you so...
They had all the usual animals plus a few not so usual, like guinea fowl... and reindeer, ostrich, and a camel.
The 'hayride' was more of a 'take some hay to feed the cows' ride, and no, Carter is not sticking his hand out to be licked, he had a 'hay sandwich' in his hand and he dropped it when he turned around to see the cow about to eat it. Yay for baby wipes!
Jovey was there too, but took a less active role. Here she's getting to sit in the grass with the kittens. She enjoyed it all just as much as the boys though.
Some of the animals were free-roaming. Apparently this goat was adopted by the farm from someone who kept it as a house pet. It sits on all the tables and is quite friendly.
Nothing says farm life like learning to make... pizza dough?
